Swimming is so Relaxing!by wwjdwithcaComment: Lovely spontanious shot - great frozen moment. The centre composition is not bad in this image, because you managed to frame it so the boy's head is between the two windows. Few of my suggestions would include fixing the greenish cast on his skin and maybe using a polarizing filter to avoid distracting window reflections. Otherwise well done. |

A Silent Stareby vtruanComment: Who surprised who in this shot? :-)) Great wildlife photo. Good composition. Love it in b&w, as it brings up the textures. The background would have been better if it were more blurred (less dof), but since this is in b&w it doesn't really distract that much. 10 |

This One's For You, Sisby EddyGComment: Oh, I can definitely relate to this. Great lighting, so bright. Good focus, just a bit more space around the whole thing would have been better. Still great image. 10 |

What's up? by sahkoComment: Very well executed. The lighting is superb, the simple colours and background make this into very good photo. My only suggestion (and I know this was probably hard) would be to make the hamster face towards the viewer as he is saying Whats Up?... 10 |

Dodging Birdsby SamaraComment: Great spontanious shot. I love the boys' expressions in their faces. The movement of the birds livens it all up. I think it's great that this is in b&w as it takes the viewer to the boys and not to the background that would be too much if it were in colour. Well done. |

fallby jjbeguinComment: I love autumn. This shot is so beautiful. I feel like walking into it and taking a deep breath of the moist cool air. You can feel the silence from it. Great photo indeed. |

One of Millions Sentenced to Die Yearly. Spay or Neuter Your Pet.by jaimeegrlComment: This is so powerful. You have fulfilled the challenge so well. I got goosbumps when I read this. I love dogs, so I can really identify with this. I really like the sepia tone on this photo as it ads such a sadness to it. Sharpness is fairly good under the low light conditions. I would have liked to see more of the cage around him, but this is nice close up as well. But you get 10 from me for the message it sends. |

The Holly Bibleby GoodEndComment: Interesting play of light and shadow. Very neat idea indeed. However, the composition of your photo could use some improvement. Either rotate the book so it is diagonal and more interesting, or center it and show both pages equally as an open book symbolism. Simple black background you are using is good. You were probably trying to focus on the angels, so the forefront of your photo is a bit blurry and distracts from the rest of the photo. Not a bad photo. |

"A Dog So Small"by GinaRothfelsComment: You puppy is very adorable. I have a bit of experience photographing tiny dogs, as I have 3 small chihuahuas of my own. It's not easy to photograph them as they are in constant movement.
Your photo has good sharpness, but it could use a bit of brightening as your puppy is fairly dark on a fairly greyish background. I don't think the desaturation of other colours was a good choice. The purple leash in front of the pup distracts from the dog himself. Also your hand was not neccessary in the shot, as the buckle size on the leash already establishes that the dog is small. The green gras could have liven up the photo and make nice colour contrast to the dog. 7
Photographing young dogs needs lots of patience and hundreds of shots to get just the right one. So don't give up. You will eventually end up with some very good shots of your little companion if you keep trying. |

Midnight Hour Encores by Bruce Brooksby BobsterLobsterComment: This is very beautiful photo. I love the feeling of movement in your shot. The warm golden colours add to the almost romantic feel of the whole image. Too bad you coudn't edit out the speck in the middle of blackness and the spot above her head (not your fault, I hate the rules too). I do not like the border as IMO it breaks the feeling of movement and makes it squared off. If you insist on border, maybe just a simple thin white one would have been better. Otherwise really nice image. |
