Outstanding photo of the central person very "passionate" about his point; his expression, pointing at the other person with the rolled up flyer. Even though the other person is obscured, you still captured the other person's hand (open hand, palm up) "offering" his his point of view or opinion. Yes, it's captures the tension/"heat". Excellent pic.

Great DOF to concentrate on the left officer. Looks like he's looking to your left somewhere, glad he wasn't looking at you... He's not too happy. Nice shot. Looks like a tough day for them.

Going through the thumbnails in this thread, yours stood out for me as this is pretty much my view on my commute throughout the winter. I guess that's one of the things photographs do, it reminds one of things familiar. Nice shot.

I like to focus point on the funny hand bag. I also like the capture of her body language, arms folded, her focus on getting to where she is going. Nice capture of opposites where bag is "funny", girl is "serious". Nice DOF to give her context.
