As an abstract, it's okay. However, it has too much dead space on the left/lower left. I don't know, it doesn't provide enough interest the way its composed....

Clowns, puppets creep me out a bit... But the main puppet has nice colors, nicely focused. Nice DOF for the most part (although I would prefer the back puppets a little more out of focus.) Overall a nicely captured image.

This one is throwing me off. The bottom half looks like it was taken during the day and the upper half at night. A little bit too "warm"/yellow for me. Maybe too much contrast or saturation?

It seems obvious that the main postcard subject is the Hollywood sign. However, the Hollywood sign is such a small part of this image. The composition doesn't work. The red flowers on the tree dominate. The center of the image makes you focus on the radio tower. I think the sign needs to dominate, probably look for a different angle where you can compose the Hollywood sign with the hill and be able cut out the radio tower for sure. Maybe try a vertical shot with the sign toward the upper third and lower third with the homes/studios below to convey that ordinary folks are looking up and "dreaming" of being Hollywood stars.... Maybe look for an angle maybe miles toward your left. Its looks like from the overlap of the letters that you are way to the right of center of the sign. So my critique would be try a different angle and try a vertical shot.

Seems more like a Coca Cola ad page than a postcard...

Nice reflections/colors in the water. The skyline buildings are illuminated nicely. However, the skyline/buildings get lost in the black sky, which doesn't make it standout for me. I'm guessing the image was taken well after sunset, I wonder how it would compare if the photo was taken in the "blue hour" right after the sun goes down but the sky isn't totally dark. I'm thinking the building lights would be on by then but you would capture the buildings against a lighter/blue sky and the buildings wouldn't blend into the sky. Just my very amateur humble opinion...

Nice, a classic postcard image. Again, I like these images where you can actually see the buildings against the sky. Great focus on the main subject. Good use of dead space for the text. 10
