London - The Queen's Guardby PanksComment: I don't know if anything could have been done about this, but his right eye being partially covered is distracting. Otherwise a nice image. |

Brightonby marboComment: Wow, nice. Brilliant colors of the sky, sand and water. Pier buildings nicely illuminated. I would go visit if I got this postcard. |

CHICAGOby GaiaComment: Nice image. I'm guessing a lot of post processing. Compared to other night skyline images, I like how the buildings are lit up. I like how you can see the buildings against the sky as opposed to being lost in the dark. The only negative for me is that the clouds look odd, not quite normal/natural, but I can't put my finger on it. Overall a nice postcard image. |

*Let There Be Light *by GeneralEComment: Maybe its just me, but the tower looks like it's leaning to the left. Otherwise, its a nice classic university postcard image. |

Smoky Fallsby karmatComment: The composition doesn't work for me. The wood railing and flower bed dominate the image. If the POV was over to the right, maybe work the bear carvings into the image as a focal point with the lodge in the background maybe???
I'm not getting the essence of Smoky Falls Lodge with this composition; I'm not enticed to visit. |

Capital Building, Washington D.C.by cmtcComment: Too busy, too much sky. With the title Capital Building, the Capital Building doesn't seem to be the main subject. It gets lost in the composition. |

Welcome to Philadelphia!by DeniseComment: In general, I like the composition, a classic postcard image. It looks like the sun just set, so the colors of the sky are nice. However, if someone sent me this postcard, my impression is that Philadelphia must be a ghost town. The buildings are dark, the bridge is dark. If the buildings in the skyline were lit up with office lights and the bridge had lights on, I would have a better (positive) impression of the picture and Philadelphia. |
