Somewhere Over The Rainbowby ErinKirstenComment: Just surfing DPC, saw this image. I drive around Hawthorne all the time, this captures what Hawthorne is. When I saw the subject and the colors of the buildings, my thought was "that's just like _____ Hawthorne." And sure enuf. GREAT image... |

Robert - Veteran, Nicollet Mallby choltmeierComment: Nice capture, doesn't look posed...looks natural. His eyes look like they have seen a lot. I like the crop, and DOF. Looks like he's sitting on a sidewalk planter on an urban street but the focus is on the subject. Nice job. |

thinktankby DistantColoursComment: I like the composition. I like how the straight lines and angles on the left juxtapose with the curves on the right. It would be interesting to compare a color version to this photo, but I would say the B&W keeps the viewer focused on the lines and curves. Nice image. |
