Imprisoned Soulby thelselComment: Neat metaphorical take on the challenge. I wish the background/bottom of the chest were slightly more defined. |

Accessing my databy agwrightComment: outstanding shot. the focus is dead on, the motion blur is great, and the reflections are sharp and clean. I'm not sure I can find anything wrong with this except for the fact that it's about the fifth hard-drive shot I've seen. |

a cone exposed in a single shotby ursulaComment: this has a definite southwestern/american indian aesthetic to it. some might comment that the border is too much, but I like it. it emphasizes the minimal composition. |

Sweetness Revealedby slgardnerComment: I'm not a fan of the red border and also wish there were more emphasis on the nifty reflections of the red foil in the blue plate. I really like that. |

Melon Innardsby christyrackComment: I like the reflections in this but wish the \'horizon\' line in the back wasn\'t there. it seems to divide the picture into halves, and it feels unbalanced because the reflecting surface, the real division, is clearly far below that line. |

Peeling Paintby KonadorComment: I actually don't see any peeling paint in this shot. all the gold leaf seems to be in pretty good condition. maybe I'm missing something on that. I do like the composition and the depth of field very much, and it's a beautiful subject. |

The Data Insideby EddyGComment: this is neat, does your hard drive platter really have 0\'s and 1\'s printed on it? or is it a projection or something? I can\'t quite figure this out. |

Sweet Exposureby StevePaxComment: I think the blue background is too intense and draws the eye away from the interesting details of the peel and the fruit. a composition concentrating more on the subject and less on the bright background would improve things. |

Party Pumkinby JackoComment: very clever. juvenile and silly but I laughed anyway! would get a higher score if the pumpkin had a more interesting background, even just some newspaper on the table like when you make a jack-o-lantern would add interest. |
