12-jan 2010. portrait.. melissa and guinea pigby rozComment: Great shot! I used to have guinea pigs, so this automatically jumped out at me. What did you do to this one? The person's coloring looks more muted. It's not a bad thing, mind you, but I am just curious if you processed it somehow. |

Coloursby JedusiComment: This is captivating. I love the interplay of colors and, of course, her beautiful eyes. The crop is dead on. Well done! |

Hello Boysby kingskingdomComment: I really think this is a stunning portrait! Maybe I'm a prude, but I think it might be sexier if we couldn't see through her outfit as much. |

18 Marriette & Wes.jpgby ErikVComment: I like his pose a lot, but her pose seems too stiff. As others have said, there's something missing here. Any outtakes from this session that you can share with us? Her left leg (although we do see her shoe a bit) really looks like it's missing and it distracts me. Looking a bit closer, it seems as if they are on some sort of platform. I think it might work better if they were in the leaves and dirt, not the man-made platform. What story do you have in your mind for them? |

Are you there?by njsabsComment: I absolutely LOVE this! She looks too innocent for that book! I wouldn't change a thing about this. A favorite indeed. |

PaW 2010 Week 3.jpgby TerComment: While I love the colors and tone here, I am not too drawn to the subject matter. Maybe you could go closer on the round window on the left of your frame. The blue handicap sign and the green one on the bottom right distract me. If you can go back to the same location and take some different shots, I think you'll really end up with something memorable (either of the building's architecture or the seascape), especially with your great eye for colors. |

ff.jpgby IvoryComment: What a beautiful daughter you have! I love the hair, the one eye hidden, and the shape of her mouth. Maybe show a little bit of her shoulders so she's not totally floating in outer space. But really I don't want to say anything bad about this image because I love it so much. |

IMG_3859-800.jpgby BarbBComment: I like this one the best, then the one to its left. How did you get such great skin tones? Any help for a novice is greatly appreciated. The graininess works well here. What beautiful big eyes. |
