The Puppet Masterby vawendyComment: This is my favourite one and my pick for the blue ribbon! The origamis look like flying away from the boy. His expression is very suggestive and the simple colours work well with the claret bow tie. Lighting works well to draw one's attention. Good luck! :-) |

"The Story of the Youth Who Went Forth to Learn What Fear Was" by bspurgeonComment: I am the 100th to add as a favourite!
I truly love the contrast: the motion of the water and the stillness of the girl. It's like she is the only stable living point in the world, stable as the rocks. On the other hand, she looks sooo innocent. Adorable story very well performed. |

Walking Papersby rmezzoComment: Really a great one, my pick for a ribbon! One of those stock photos in this challenge which really use the environment as an important element of the subject. Great idea meets an impressive viewpoint here. I like the fired man composed on the left, it balances the composition very well. Take (9) from me! |

Charting the progress by TygerrComment: I truly love the concept and the shallow depth of fields! What makes this shot funny is that he is drawing up an increasing chart, though, from my point it's decreasing. Some tags like "change your point of view" or "it's only a matter of viewpoint" are popping up in my mind. This surely goes into my top 5 in this challenge. :-) (8) |

Workaholicby glodaComment: This is like looking into a mirror for me! :-D Just joking. The photo is simple, though, very talkative. I like the way you use the foreground and depth of fields, also the expression of your model. Good luck! (8) |

I Give UP!by TCGuruComment: I could imagine this as an advertisement for headache-pills or an antistress training. The motion is very well captured, I also like the red blouse, which breaks the greyish-black environment of this burn-out office-life. Motion and emotiveness make this photo live. The only thing I cannot really take is the border. I think the photo would work better without it. (8) |

Demolishing the Competitionby Shutter-For-HireComment: This is a good one. I like the suggestive look of your model, capturing eye contact. It is very important for an advertisement photo, to make interaction with the one looking. The alltogether atmosphere of the photo earns trust. One of my favs in this challenge. (9) |
