Waiting for her loverby DirtypainterComment: I feel disappointment and impatience in her look. And both at the same time. I like the posing, maybe skin tones look a little bit unnatural, mostly on her arm. May be because of the lighting, not sure, but I guess a light-tone foundation would also help. The green chair, her purple dress and her redish.blond hair look good together, it was a great choice. |

with love....by suemackComment: Excellent capture! Though I am not a fan of flowers with waterdrops and I prefer romance with people, I simply like this one. The DOF, the colours, all the composition and the lighting is very moody. |

Romanceby SteveinnzComment: Good idea to fill the frame. Though, I would have chosen a lower angle to avoid centeration of the rose and get a more interesting viewpoint. I am not sure about the focusing and also seems overexposed - you loose colour on a few petals. Try to get as sharp results as possible, later you can post-process it to have a milder look. Using more diffused lights would result in better exposure than a harsh lighting. |

Puppy Love.by docpjvComment: Cute!!! Personally I would have placed te background a little bit further from the kids, but alltogether a great shot whith full of emotions, and sepia tones make it soft, which works well with the mood of this photo. |

Acquiescenceby shekkiComment: Quite out of focus, and I can't see the concept of the composition. Blue, it's true, but try to implement your subject in a way that raises the viewers' interest for your subject. It's not only blue what's important for this challenge, but the subject you choose to show blue, and the implementation, the hows of making your shot. |

Sonata in G Minorby GordonComment: Sorry, this is rather purple than blue, and it's quite out of focus. Also the aberration on the edge of the petals is distracting. Yellow adds a nice colour element, though. |

Campbell's Soup Can (Blue & Purple, Modern)by mComment: I don't know what you really made to the colours, but it doesn't have a positive effect averall. It ruins the quality, and it's rather purple than blue. It would be better to find a blue can, and avoid such agressive (and destructive) post-process. |

Baby Blueby lindesComment: It would be better to show more of the baby's beautiful blue eye, and less skin and background. It's difficult to photograph babies, they never do what you say. But, IMO, lighting could be improved in order to gain better skin tones, and the eye could be even sharper. |

Blue brushesby senojComment: Meets the challenge, though it's very much out of focus and overexposed, which makes in unenjoyable. Don't push the camera into the subject if it does not support macro mode, because you will loose focus. |

Out of the Blueby NigelComment: Another chaos shot... Not sure about the empty wrappings would work well. It also seems overexposed, and not an interesting subject either, sorry. |
