Once In A Lifetime, Son. by scarbrdComment: Great Idea and true statement probably in the life of a bird and a fat 9. However the term Blue Moon corresponds to the third full moon in a quarter of the year when there were four full moons (normally a quarter year has three full moons). Full moon names are given to each moon in a season: For example, the first moon of summer is called the early summer moon, the second is called the midsummer moon, and the last is called the late summer moon. When a season has four moons the third is called the blue moon so that the last can continue to be called the late moon. They occur every 2-3 years. |

Moonby mbrutus2009Comment: crisp clear, nice. 7 However, the term Blue Moon is specific and corresponds to the third full moon in a quarter of the year when there were four full moons (normally a quarter year has three full moons). That being said The photo you captured is a phase called Waning Gibbous or Old Gibbous slightly after the full moon. So, your title is technically incorrect. I'm a moon junkie excuse me for my pointing this out. |

When the Moon Cries by MinsoPhotoComment: You know, if your going to process the living daylights out of a photo or group of photos and are willing to run the risk of putting it out here forcing us to view it the least you could do, the very least is accept this ten because this is just simply cool. |
