Water Hazardby lear202btComment: Never buy a logo ball, because it's always going to be sucked into the hazard as soon as you hit it. Always ;) Nice inventive shot, maybe a slight orange cast though (tungsten light source?). |

Sea of tranquillity by geewhyComment: Nice composition, though I'd suggest playing around with levels to get a better tonal range. There's just not very much black there, but by adding a levels adjustment layer and pulling the left hand input slider toward the right you could 'introduce' some. |

"Silent Observation"by autoolComment: Great colors and a nice composition. The only minor points are that the horizon isn't quite level and the main lwindmill overlaps with one behind it. It would have been great to see the bottoms of the towers, but given the darkness that probably wouldn't be possible without losing the coloration in the sky. |

Liquid Frogby drydocComment: You really really need a shallow DOF here - though if you are using a small sensor camera this wouldn't normally be possible. Becasue the surface of the frog is so abstract, I find my eye drawn to the more easily recognisable background. |

Coniston Waterby ImagineerComment: Very nice composition, and a great soft feel to this one. There's a bit of lens flare on the right hand side, which you could have corrected given that this is an advanced rules challenge. |

Harness the Skyby QuadrajetComment: Great composition and color. If you correct the vertical convergence this would be a wonderful shot. |

No More Colourful Stock Sunsetsby mariomelComment: This is an excellent piece of work, with a great mix of B&W and color. A little more detail in the darker areas might be nice, but the photo works very well as it is. Funny enough, this image is much much better than any of the 'free study' winners... Dock in the Bay by mbardeenComment: Very nice use of a wide angle and great colors. For me it works better if you crop off the bottom. |

Fingering Ghostby kiwinessComment: A pretty stunning piece of work. Perfect apart from the fact that it's slightly off center - but that's not really important to the impact. |
