Sunset in Singaporeby soonComment: good composition. oversharpened. the muted colors took away the beauty of what i imagined a bursting explosion of orange and blue. topaz (or something like it) is a very effective tool to bring out details and blur out distracting elements in the bg, but it works againts you when overdone. |

I think. Therefore I am sober.by LandzEncaComment: So this isn't wine glass and bottle. This is liquor bottle and a shot glass. Yet still the same -- the usual contents of an eye-candy shot. Wow. The opposite of what people expect to see in this challenge, which is the actual type of image usually appreciated by posthumous. And it is blurred just so it fits the style. Perfect. |

Tile Spacersby dragonwarlord98Comment: They look like the little crosses you put above a grave of a dead photographer who is about to receive a post-humous award. |

The greedy maelstrom hapless souls devour...by vawendyComment: i believe this art, and photography in one. I give this a ten because it achieves both the artistic rendering of a vision, while at the same time requiring a relatively high technical skills in order to be executed. It is not randomly blurred. It was blurred with precision. And the blurness is not because you lacked the skill and equipment. It is blurred because it was intended to be. |

The Tree of Lightby AbraComment: i know you are trying to achieve a work of art, but i feel dizzy, rather than engaged to the image. |

Always with styleby gyabanComment: The wine bottle represents the eye-candy, which is the opposite of what everyone expects to ribbon in this challenge, which is the perpect definition of what a posthumous entry should be. The crisp, sharp details and the lighting setup demonstrate your loyalty to your style. People may ask me to take a photo of something according to how they want it to be photographed, and I would do that, but I will not betray my own style. The inverted "you" is what this challenge asks every technically good photographer in the DPC community to be. I give this a 10, and i hope you win. |
