buttermilkby CalliopeKelComment: LOL! I love the expression on the cow's face, LOL!
Okay, GREAT idea, original, unique and well composed. So why did it not do better? Well, my opinion, for what it's worth (about 2 cents on EBay) is the cow is dull. You desaturated the rest of the picture and not sure just how you went about it but the cow is dull and to me when a shot is desaturated the color part that is left out should really stand out. I know some are very subtle and such but this just begs for a more vibrant color of Yellow, not literally sunshine yellow but more than what is showing. Also, the line around the cow seems very percise, no give or take between it and the background. Maybe a slight blur or feather the wand a bit to allow a little less rigidity? Hope these comments help.

Waterlinesby puzzledComment: This is so cool! I didn't get to it during the challenge so didn't get a chance to vote on it. There were too many, LOL :)
I really like the colors, the clarity and the look of this shot. The only thing that bothers me just a touch is the balance, the X on the rope isn't on a third line or cross section or even in the middle on the side, it leaves me feeling a bit off for some reason. Maybe just a slightly different crop? Otherwise I cannot find anything wrong with this, I would have given it a 9 if I had gotten to it.

'81'by suemackComment: Okay, didn't get into a lot of detail the first time around so I'll try to be a little more detailed this time around.
I like the idea, the concept, the action. But the colors on the car are as I said before, a bit dull and uninteresting overall. Possibly a tweek to the levels or contrast could really make this shot stand out a bit more colorwise. Also sine this was advance, maybe using a dodge tool set very lightly to really burn in the curves and corners might again really make this stand out more. I really like the stop motion on the dirt and the car itself. If you try any of these suggestions I would love to see the results.

Harbour Sunrise by GIS_boyComment: Okay, I'm a bit wanting to lean or rotate this picture because of the clouds but I see the horizon is straight as are the boats. Very interesting effect. Love the colors of the overall scene, very golden with the yellow on the top. A very nice postcard scene. :) An 8 |

"...she loves me... she loves me not..."by aberrationComment: Sweet! Love the DOF on this one, the single petal left, is it love or is it not? The color on the flower seems a bit dark to the petals in the background and the lines in the background, though muted and out of focus are just a touch (a very tiny touch) distracting to me. But otherwise, creative, unique and wonderful! An 8 |

Gold Coastby GermaineComment: This is so peaceful and lovely. I love landscape shots with the ocean and water in them. The boats are a nice touch to bring you back to the water and the sky is a very nice tone with the yellows and orange. The balance between water, land and sky seems off just a touch in the balance. It's a little top heavy to me, but otherwise, very well done. An 8 |
