No the cow is not missing a leg, I think it was just standing directly behind the front left leg.

As far as the cow being dull. Not sure what to say to that. I don't get that sensation really. I found it visually pleasing, but obviously it wasn't that well recieved. I tried to keep the cow looking as natural as possible. Didn't want his colors appearing fake or lemony. This is why I settled on this hue/shade of yellow.

under-rated IMO. I like the contrast of textures and the color vs. black/white.

Oh and is the cow missing a leg? I only see one front leg, looks a little odd, LOL :)

LOL! I love the expression on the cow's face, LOL!

Okay, GREAT idea, original, unique and well composed. So why did it not do better? Well, my opinion, for what it's worth (about 2 cents on EBay) is the cow is dull. You desaturated the rest of the picture and not sure just how you went about it but the cow is dull and to me when a shot is desaturated the color part that is left out should really stand out. I know some are very subtle and such but this just begs for a more vibrant color of Yellow, not literally sunshine yellow but more than what is showing. Also, the line around the cow seems very percise, no give or take between it and the background. Maybe a slight blur or feather the wand a bit to allow a little less rigidity? Hope these comments help.

The three legs reminds me of the joke about "lean beef"...

What a stand out amidst daffodils and such. I love this bovine beauty. Jumps out at you from the thumbnails. Great imaginative entry and the title really is so fitting!!!
