The Upstairs Maidby jodiecostonComment: Originally posted by Inga_fang: I love this one, I wish you hadn´t cut of her bum though...naughty, erotic, great contrast between the white of her skin and the black of the outfit |

Atomic Bomb Dome Oneby JesuispeureComment: absolutely evokes feelings of post apocolyptic horror. It also has the feel that is often evoked in monuments stateside, that of holocaust memorials and the like. The composition aids in that as well. |

Just Tby MonaComment: This has a great feel of a summer lake adn the stillness of glass. There is a remarkable feeling of isolation, fear, danger and yet calmness. It makes you want to hop forward onto the float and just do a plunge over the back slowly. There is also a subtle religious overtone that is only solidified by the light. Another great shot Mona. |

Birds in Balanceby coolharComment: there is such a feeling of movement to this shot and it is so alfred hitchcock that is is really nice. I hate to say it but the airplane is not really necessary here and the stark negative space would be just fine. But what the hell, anytime you can compose a beautiful shot and have a plane fly through the picture, I say go for it.- and i guess upon further review the birds do appear to be escaping from the path of teh plane- and yes motion is derived from that so- even better than before! |

Perfectly Balanced Woodby StevePaxComment: nice snowy effect. great exposure, which is near impossible with this type shot.
I'd call it "turning wood" or the "lathe master" you don't need to clarify with the title. |

Perfect color balanceby TrollManComment: maybr its my monitor but this doesn't look natural it looks liike a bad saturation correction. Being the title, it ruins an otherwise great composition in my favorite pastoral style. |

Poetry In Motionby SammieComment: those are some small pigeons! nice composition. THese appear to be western and not "ruby thoated, or they are female h-b's. the red of the ball could be saturated or exposed better, but its a good shot anyway. |
