Prospecting for goldby Pop_in_OzComment: I love that Big big sun! The foreground is an eerie gray blue, but the starkness of this shot lies in the contrast. I like how you managed to keep the detail in the foreground while showing shadow on the tree and the big sunrise. Perhaps you could put the horizon lower in the shot and show more beatiful sky and less foreground. Message edited by author 2003-11-23 15:48:00. |

Don't Sweat This Small Stuffby yamahondamomComment: Great matching of the challenge. Nice action. Blue and grey background is a bit weak. An alternate title might be The A.M.A. Guide to permanent impairments, 4th ed. Nice shot |

"Eye of the Needle" by Ken Folletby natorComment: This is a popular title. Wasn't the phrase easier for a camel to pass...meaning an actual pass between two mountains? any way, good choice of b and w. |

Unbearable lightness of beingby sergutComment: Daniel day lewis would be proud! I don't like the yellow or red in the pillows, I would really like to see this in sepia tone or black and white. |

River between us (Richard Peck)by pitsamanComment: I like the composition here- it beckons you to walk down that path. The are a bit too saturated to look natural to me. also, the focus is a bit strange or blurry in spots. |

King Inkby NazgulComment: Great contrast, the writing is slanted and therefore, you are a pessimist. |
