February Thaw — Pleasant Bayby Bear_MusicComment: The branch would make a great frame, except that it encloses only a part of the shoreline and leaves out the refelction and larger body of water. Nice exposure, lighting and definition. |

Australia in Februaryby okkyComment: And believe that with four inches of snow left from the last storm, I'm eating my heart out. After seven years in Wollongong and Melbourne, I wish I were in that scene. Nice shot; it captures the feeling of an Australian February. |

Januaryby scottiehamComment: A gorgeous cardinal, beautifully rendered. Somehow, I associate cardinals with spring and summer, not necessarily January. Calendar pictures are usually more about what's typical of the season, not neccesarily the season in which it was taken. |

MARCH of the Primrosesby GeneralEComment: Nice composition, but oh, those blown-out whites! IMHO it would have been better to let the leaves and yellow flowers go a bit dark to hold some detail in the whites. |

Februaryby PixelstateComment: I'm curious about where you live. This looks like the Northeastern United States in June; I think most American calendars show a winter scene of some sort in February. That may be my cultural bias, I suppose, but I don't feel February here. |

Julyby LelezComment: Beautiful riot of colors, but it has an over processed look. It certainly does say July. |

Brake Lightsby witt34Comment: Interesting abstract. This is the kind of shot that would fit into a guessing game of what's in the picture. |

The Red Mealby PrashComment: Maybe there's a good reason for the blurry focus, but I can't see it. |

Little Red Shoesby ddreamerComment: Watch those blown highlights. More even lighting would have made this a nice composition. |

Color of the Fallenby posthumousComment: Well, I guess there's red under all that water, but couldn't you have found some really red leaves? Some autumn leaves are the most amazing, rich red; these have a few red lines running through them. |
