șiriaby andreiplesaComment: lovely light rays. exposure is good, a bit on the darkish side, but that's okay, adds mood. Compositionally, the foreground hill is a bit distraction. With the hill being so far away, it makes me feel like I'm floating. |

From the SeaBed to the Skyby ikopanasComment: things seem a bit bright in this. Compositionally its nice, but it doesn't scream out to me. The leading lines are good, and the mountain in the background is a nice gem. I feel as though this is a wonderful shot ... taken at the wrong time of the day. If this were to have been in the morning or late night sun, it would have been 24938428340983 times more dramatic, and more impactful. |

Icyby Purple_GirlComment: Ice is difficult to photograph, unless it's prepared in a very special way it's never "crystal" clear. I think this is one of those few photographs that could actually benefit from having some water droplets or signs of condensation. I like the lighting, and the lack of shadow, but I find the seam where the backdrop meets the floor to be a bit distracting. I'd love to see a photo where you stack more ice and fill the frame. They have such interesting imperfections. |

In the Shadeby MaryOComment: moody, and oh so beautiful. I love how hyper-sharp the left flower is, and how the DOF creates several variations of the same flower. Black is a bit heavy for this challenge, I would typically associate white as a cool color. I'm nit picking, I really don't know what to say. |

Snow Dayby HighDesertCowgalComment: I can't say that I'm a big fan of the post processing in this, the swirly background seems to take away some of the authenticity of it all. Despite the snow, the image feels very warm still, the sky, horses, and even the bushes exhibit warm reds and browns. |

Postby rooumComment: I think I would typically think of brown as being more of a warm color (made with reds), and the graffiti seems to imply that as well.
I like the framing of this. I wish it had a bit more color in it (per the challenge)

Playing it coolby SocomComment: I do wish that this had more breathing room around it. I like it from an experimental approach, I think for a challenge on color it's a bit devoid, as such it probably will get killed by some of the other voters.
there's some light spill onto your clothes and face, I think I'd wear all dark clothes next time, and see if that would help blend you more. I'd like to see more light painting on the guitar, maybe light "buttons" on the male?

cool waterby LawtonComment: The over-use of filters will probably kill your score. I love the tonal qualities, and the dreamy feeling of some of the blurry areas. I would have cropped a bit tighter so that the glass is the same on each side (or not in there at all).

Quiet Calmby markwileyComment: beautiful shot, lovely colors. I think I would have liked to have seen the exposure bumped up just a tad bit, and cropped a little tighter on the right, and it'd be excellent. 7

Just Chillinby briandsdComment: If you were to rotate this 90^ counter-clockwise, it'd look like it was doing pushups. :D ((also, are those egg clutches on the body??))
Okay, from a technical standpoint, this image is good, but not great the focus is on point, exposure is good, color works. Other than that, it feels a bit dull. I don't really get the importance of the dragonfly-- that is to say, it doesn't really say anything special, and as such, the expectation is that everything else would have to be PERFECT. I think that compositionally it's a bit dull, and the background doesn't sing. To me, the most interesting thing in the photo isn't actually the dragonfly, it's the blade of grass/plant and how the lighting falls and casts shadows/highlights on itself. The slight rotation of the grass seems weird, but I can understand your reasons for not straightening in PP.
overall, not bad, but not mind-blowing either. 5
