| Very cool colors. I just don't think you captured the ice very well as it doesn't stand out from the background at all. Compare to the other ice shot with a blue background in this challenge... this one is missing the luminosity and texture of the ice. |

| Ice is difficult to photograph, unless it's prepared in a very special way it's never "crystal" clear. I think this is one of those few photographs that could actually benefit from having some water droplets or signs of condensation. I like the lighting, and the lack of shadow, but I find the seam where the backdrop meets the floor to be a bit distracting. I'd love to see a photo where you stack more ice and fill the frame. They have such interesting imperfections. |
