Willow Tree Out Of Seasonby spreadcomComment: Very lovely. It has an infrared quality to it. I wish the left part of the tree didn't fade into the white of the sky, but my monitor blows out whites to some extent, so I won't worry about it much. |

Black and Whiteby DanSigComment: I don't begrudge you your limited scenery, but I think Ansel would've tried to find a less prohibitive angle to shoot from. The background isn't very compelling here, scenery aside. |

Fallsby faidoiComment: Very nice. Beautiful silky waterfall. It's not very big, but the angle gives it a sense of exaggerated scale. |

Widdop Moorby peeceeComment: Very beautiful. The landscape is very dramatic, and the composition sends my eye sweeping through the shot. |

The Art of Erosionby nrulkovComment: Beautiful lines and shapes -- what great trees up there at the top of the ravine. I wish there were starker contrast, though, especially in the foreground. |

The Pierby dpakohComment: Nice depth of field, and I like the waves in the background. It appears to be an overcast day, which makes it hard to achieve an Ansel Adams sky. I had the same problem on my photo. |

Remains by Brick, Ivy and Leavesby banmornComment: I think this photo would be served by higher contrast. You might try the channel mixer method of changing to black and white, if you have access to photoshop, and setting the red channel to some negative number to make the brick blacker than it is for starker contrast. |
