Tall Tall Treesby wmprkgComment: I like pictures taken against the light, always a challenge to get it right. I don`t know what was behind you, but going further back and using a ZOOM would make this almost perfect. However it probabbly was not possible. I like the empy spaces in front and above the trees. Well done. |

Solitude Standingby ColeyComment: I love winter trees. You made almost everthing perfect. Foreground, space above the tree, main object slightly off-set, nice clouds in the sky, but I am sure you will agree with me, your photo is not a whow photo. It`s beautifull but basically it`s boring. Sorry. I have done many like that. What would make it whow is a more dramatic light. Read any photobook and prof. photographers talk about waiting waiting and waiting for the right light or they will come back when perfect. Sometime we just don`t have the time for that. Go well |

Ansel in the flat landsby rhipsterComment: You obviously having problems to find rocky mountains in your part of the world. Very well done to catch my intrest with your composition. The road, the main feature the tree and the fantastic sky. What would happen if the front road would be slightly off-set ?? Try it |

Fallsby faidoiComment: Falling water always a winner. Nice sharp surroundings. Excellent work. 2 ideas for possible improovements (only my oppinion). Off-setting the waterfall a fraction more to left. Obviously I don`t know whats on the right, but the ground seem to come down. This would open-up the picture. And maybe a slightly faster shutterspeed. Not much, just to make it a little bit less bubble-gummy. |

Mendocino Coastby bryanbrazilComment: You did almost everythig right here. But unfortunatly only almost. Good foreground, great main feature the bridge and a fantastic sky. Composition ==> first price. However in my oppinion you wasted a golden oppertunity to make a whow photo here. I think your hand was to heavy on the contrast button. The white on the water is competing to be the main feature, but clearly it is not. The trees at the right are to dark almost getting lost and the rocks in the water are just a dark spots. Go back there and re-shoot and think of the finished picture when pressing the trigger. You will see a difference. |

El Acantiladoby SammieComment: Capture of great rock formation. I can see lots of things in there. Good contrast, but an very unfortunate sky. Not much you can do however (?) What is lacking here to make it an "Ansel" photo, is an interesting foreground. I don`t know what is in front of you, but you seem to be standing there, taking the picture. What about lying down to give some foreground. This might just make this an oustanding photograph. Also work on you focus |

Tree's, Leicestershire, England, 2005by om10Comment: Photographing a forest is not easy, and I feel you pushed the contrast a bit to much, in order to create this b&w sceen. Unfortunatly the back of the forest has a dull grey zone. If you would like to make it grey I think it would be better if it were out of focus |

The Farm Houseby C_Steve_GComment: Interesting black & white study. A dramatic cloudy sky is normally photographically preferred, but I like the empty upper part in your picture. Works very well |

Homage to Anselby Bran-O-RamaComment: I know it is easier to critisize than to make better, but your photo seem to lack a focalpoint. I don`t know what I looking for in your picture |

wind rowby BMacDComment: Very beautifull contrast. Not easy to do. Congrats. However I can`t help thinking the horizon is not horizontal. Check again. |
