Solitudeby sekarmalathyComment: without the person included, the scene would lose it's sense of scale. I'm noticing light/dark edges appear fringed. The fringe is worse around the lower part of the person. Upper half is fine. |

Departureby TobiComment: some time elapsed before i noticed that they are headstones in a cemetery. if i'd of noticed earlier what they were, i think the picture would have more impact. i reckon if you had stood on a step ladder to get up a bit more height viewpoint - that would give more depth. some edge 'fringing' is going on with the red leaves that are against the grey sky, a bit distracting. |

Foliageby KelliComment: i think i'd see the colours better if there wasn't so much sharpening effect. |

Sunny novemberby ELLIPSComment: is it just me or do i keep seeing side effects of image sharpening? Look at the figure of person standing far right. Has a bright halo around. If you removed him, would there be one of those white outlines you see in a murder scene, you know the police draw on the ground where the body was found? Nice the way the brown foliage is partly reflected by the water surface. (A great use for a polarising filter on the camera lens, so can fine tune the amount of reflection.) |
