over-sharpened for web. I find that images with lots of small, bright highlights benefit from raising the value of the "threshold". It allows you to sharpen with an eye to the rest of the image. Do a search on the DPC threads -- there has been some discussion about unsharp masking that is worth reading.

I'm normally not very fond of pet photos. You've done a really nice job with this -- good lighting, appropriate sharpening, good focus, and a handsome subject is always good.

maybe "cocktail" -- that awful one with Tom Cruise -- would have been appropriate. I really dig the cool colors and lighting. Interesting how you've captured the motion, but the lighting looks quite soft. Perhaps a tutorial?
