el maximilianoby rananculusComment: I can't quite place why, but it looks like it's not level -- but all the horizontal lines are right. I want to see a little more detail in the white walll -- it's a bit over-exposed. Ncie colors tho. |

Concrete Proportionsby DonatienComment: The unsharp masking is pretty overdone -- if you're using photoshop, I'd say that anything between 40-80 is enough for the sizes we use here (USM is resolution-dependent), and depending on the image, tinkering a biit with the radius. |

Mint Julepby OlyuziComment: The unsharp masking is excessive. Try a couple of things -- assuming you're using photoshop: use a lower value for the Amount (I'd think between 40 & 80 would be adequate), and perhaps a slightly higher value for the radius, perhaps somewhere between 1 & 4. |

In The Cutby gpiersonComment: Wow -- that's a really gorgeous composition. And, it meets the challenge in both the letter and spirit. I'd expect to see this in the top 10. |

Spicy!by cbellerComment: Handsome pic, nice concept. I'm wishing for a full DOF so they're all in focus. |

Kyndallby FlashComment: It's a nice image -- I think that the size of the field could be emphasized with a very horizontal cropping just under the people. Just a suggestion. |

Historical Perspectiveby FalcComment: It's a handsome image -- it stands on it's own without the frame, which uses up a lot of space in the image. |

Once Is Not Enoughby GPComment: Hmm. I smell a top 20. Perhaps a polarizer to bring out some detail in the clouds? Darn expensive filter tho... |

Size Does Matterby mamonellComment: The artifacts from the Hue/Saturation mods are really unpleasant. The function "selective color" under selection offers a "softness' control, but unfortunately, it's against the rules to use it. All things considered, the shot would have worked better if you used a worklamp to shine through the flag (creating a stronger effect on the actual image) rather than trying to bring it up in photoshop. |
