Child's Play - Maybe Notby CDSComment: excessively contrasty -- I'm wanting some kind of detail on the ground plane to give it a sense of position in space. Both the shot and the concept are very literal -- maybe playing a little with short DOF or lowering the point of view could add drama to the shot. |

The new recruitby PatrolComment: cool -- I was actually expecting to see lots of lame "game piece" ideas but yours actually delivers a clever conceptual pun, a soldier as a pawn. The shot is a little flat and the DOF is sort of 'neither here nor there'. It shows some blurring at the very front, but not enough to look intentional. |
