Captiveby faidoiComment: I would like this so much better if the line didn't cut cross the elephant's eye.... (sorry, major pet peeve of mine is the either not see the eye, or have something intrude on it) |

Captivityby TychoComment: A major no-no in my book is... not being able to see the eyes. |

By the Seaby snackwellsComment: This is amazing in that it appears as just a plain old snapshot. And at the same time, it is anything but! I like the leading lines (fence, trees, shoreline and waves). The exposure is perfect in spite of a bright sun with its potential for harsh shadows. And I love the colors. My only complaint might be that her arms just disappear out of the picture... it leaves me wondering why they were cropped. But other than that, I really like this image. Good luck in the challenge! |

The Lookoutby ManicComment: Love the shallow DOF. And even though the squirrel has his back to you, you can still see his eye. (a major grievance of mine is when you can't see the eyes of the person or animal) So big plus for you. Love the colors in the background too. Makes the picture very interesting. My only nit might be a wish for a tad more sharpness around the eye. Good luck in the challenge! |
