Innocenceby pedahel7Comment: I love the idea... For my tastes, I think I would have kept the flowers in color, but muted the color just a bit. It feels like it over powers the scene and doesn't let me absorb the rest of the image. |

Marilyn Dreams in High Keyby KDOComment: I usually like high-key shots.. for me, this one lacks definition. It seems like it still needs some "hard lines" to finish it off. One thing, for example, is her nose. Without any "lines" to show her nose, it almost looks like a pig nose (a snout with holes in front). It's lacking the "3-d" clues that would have convinced my eye otherwise. |

Strung Outby MR_PComment: Nice. The blurred background really gives the foreground meaning. And I, for one, thing the border is perfect. |

Arizona Fenceby jbeazellComment: I like the sky ... but the plants in the background just sort of "blend into the sky" with little separation. I doubt the colors were similar ... so my guess is that performing your color-to-b&w conversion with Channel Mixer or something similar could have resulted in a much more compelling b&w. If you'd like me to explain more after the challenge is over, send me a PM. |
