Oh deer!by curt57Comment: You should use the full 640 pixels available... people here tend to vote down a small picture. Also, try playing with contrast and saturation and I think you'll find it a much more compelling image. Good luck in the challenge. |

Haarlemmerpoort (portal in Amsterdam)by morpurgoComment: Hmmm... I read the rules as "Capture an image where the foreground subject frames the rest of the image". It seems like the people, or even the bus, is more in the foreground than the pillars. And even if the pillars are the frame for this image, the "reset of the image" is so distant and hard to make out that it doesn't feel like part of the subject matter. Anyway, nice try. A bet getting closer to the pillars and avoiding the street clutter would have done the trick. |
