liquid eyes by magnetic9999Comment: A long time coming... the texture and tones in this shot are second to none. Well-deserved ribbon. Congrats :) |

Lematoe Juice by SonifoComment: This picture is great! Add this to my list of 'I want that in my kitchen' photographs. I think it'd be more effective as a less rectangular shot, though ... as I almost feel like I've got to pan the picture to see everything that's going on. Great job, though. |

Coldplayby arnitComment: This shot is technically and compositionally incredible... it's a shame it's so difficult to stretch to see the '4', but as soon as you tell us what to look at, everything comes together. Still something I'd love to hang on my wall. Message edited by author 2002-12-30 00:15:22. |

Bloomingdales Candid 1by smellyfish1002Comment: This is definitely another of my favorites from the week. I love the background in this shot -- both the face and the slanted grey, cutting through the white. The portrait itself is very nice. Your subject really pops out of the background, and I think that's what makes the shot. The left side of the image seems to fade off pretty dark, and I'm not sure if that was intentional. 9. |

Christmas Time Is Hereby jenaromComment: WOW. If this were in a magazine, absolutely no question would I think the ball was airbrushed. The effect you've acheived here is really amazing -- two (maybe even three) completely different and yet all incredible textures that would work well on their own... but work even better together. I love the white space. |

one yellow eyeby BadPiggComment: A shot like this begs you to stare at the center object -- and when I do, I see the reflection of the photographer. Without much experience on things like these, I'm not sure how to tell you to fix it. The composition is a very good idea, though -- with the yellow on yellow. I'd prefer to have the object perfectly centered in the background (right now, it's low and maybe slightly to the left). |
