Wild Cobra Lilliesby ChefbozComment: The lighting is a little harsh. If your camera allows it, this should be something you underexpose and then lighten up in your photoediting software. It would take care of some of the washed out places. |

Nature's work of artby NonageComment: I like the way the noise adds to the image. The capture of the color is also impressive.
I am interested in seeing what this ends up being. |

The Intimidatorby Prime_TimeComment: Not a bad concept, although this would probably work better in the miniature challenge that is running at the same time. The car is slightly out of focus/noisy.
I so like the relfection on the floor of this shot. |

With a Rebel Yellby K-RobComment: This shot isn't all that bad. It does suffer from a little washing out in a few spots, but that is darn difficult to avoid with the silvery coloration of the Digital Rebel.
With more of the camera showing, this would make a great advertisement shot, with less harsh lighting that is. |

Peppercorn Blendby OneSweetSinComment: Very nice subject matter. It has a great deal of texture and color contrast.
Similar to my own shot, this might look better if shot at more of an angle. Instead of a 90 Degree straight into the Pepper, use a 45 or even 60 degree angle, which could add more DOF to the shot.
It could add more interest to this otherwise nice shot.
As it sits, I can see this hanging in someone's kitchen, not as a huge overwhelming piece, but maybe as a 4x6 or 2x3 image in a nice kitchen related frame. |

Rosaceae Minutiaby adineComment: NIce choice of black and white. The textures come out very nicely in this image. |

Emerald Dragonby debitiptonComment: This is a very nice shot. I like the shades of green. It has good DOF. I don't think that there is anything that I would change in this photo. |

Weathered Ironby NodeComment: It's a good concept and a nice example of macro. However, the image doesn't jump out and get me so to speak. It's a little bland. |

"Crabfeast"by cabaComment: All I can about this is "eeeeww"
It is a nice example of a Macro shot, but is is wholly unappealing as a finished product. |
