I like your decision to crop the photo where you did. Some others in the challenge made me feel a little intrusive and a little uncomfortable by making me a voyeur of sorts, but you did a great job of capuring a sensual moment but keeping it intimate between the two subjects (and not including me). The desaturation is PERFECT for this photo.

Your lighting is cool, there seems to be a little blue cast, but 1) I'm an amateur who knows nothing and 2) I always assume the photographer meant to do it that way. Nonetheless, I love your unique interpretation of the challenge and it's very compositionally interesting. Kudos to you!!

I know I like the lighitng in this... but there's something else that's intriguing... I mean, you can clearly tell it's a woman, but there's a certain sense of androgyny in this... to me, anyway. It really adds a bit of mystery. (Please tell your model I don't think SHE looks androgynous, it's just the way the photo was taken. She's very pretty. Don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.)

A subtle patience

I love the soft lighting on this. I was supposed to take one of these shots of a pregnant friend of mine, but she went and had the baby early!! :) You can kind of see the uncertainty in her eyes. Best wishes to mother and baby!
