comments: I instantly liked this image, maybe it's cause I'm from the country and have a special liking to images like this, but I feel it isn't quite a shallow DOF. Maybe I'm just being too picky. It seems that if you were closer in on the corn stalks it would portray it better, again I could be wrong, just my opinion.

comments: I was just looking at a similar image from the first Shallow DOF challenge. I like this idea and you've done well to pull it off but I wish the black item had a bit more familiar shape in the droplets. It just appears as a blob and doen't help the image any.

comments: I'm trying to figure out if I'm being to picky on how shallow a DOF should be cause this is about the 3rd out of 7 I've voted on that don't really seem to be fitting the bill. While looking at past challenges I feel that shallow should be where only a very small portion is in focus (1-2"). I have to say that I wish you were closer to the flowers so that we could tell how shallow the field is. Still a wonderful image with great colors and layout and even a border that works well with it...good luck.

comments: Nice shallow DOF, I've been torn wondering how shallow the images should be and when I find one done as well as this it just adds to my idea the it should be very shallow.

comments: Very very nice. I love how you used a one for this. This idea would kind of work for the personifacation challenge too...don't worry I won't steal the idea (there's no way I could pull it off as well). Extra props for the sharp black and pure white colors and VERY shallow DOF.

comments: I like this. At first I thought the blurred part was just it's shadow but then realized it wasn't. Very nicely done. This is one of few I have seen that truly have gone shallow. Good luck.
