Nice detail, good b/w color tones-wonder if a little bump in the whites would add to it? just a thought. Lots of textures to look at.

Good variety of textures here and color contrast. I like the left to right flow of it.

Seems a little dark but I'm thinking that if it was lighter you'd probably lose the details so I'll leave that alone. Good focus and detail.

Other than the flash spot in the middle of the lower part of the ribbon it is well executed.

Nice variety of textures. I like the b/w, seems a little tilted.

It is amazing how some people on this site, built around being creative, can have no sense of creativity at all. It might stem (no pun intended) from the fact that anyone today can get a good quality camera that will give them nice photos so they instantly think they are an expert.
Sorry you didn't do so well but don't let the closed minded people deter you, this shot has a history and meaning to you so it is great. |

Morning Swimby amberComment: Amber you had posted a thread about self - DQ, if this is the image you wanted to DQ I'm glad you didn't. It didn't get a ribbon but still a great picture. I think it is unique and the colors are great. Sorry I didn't vote in this challenge, maybe I could have helped :).
Congrats on the top 50, lately I'm lucky to make it past 4.5. |
