Congrats on the win JJ! I looked for some info on that critter, but couldn't find anything specific. I'm sure he is some kind of hornworm, but I don't know if we have any that look like that around here. So I have no idea what kind of moth or butterfly he is in training for!

Congrats on the ribbon! Truely a fine shot. I see that you only performed an autolevel on this pic... if you look into doing it as a print you may want to consider a slight curves adjustment as well. It would really punch up the color and increase the contrast a tad.

Lovely swallowtail, but it appears just a tad overexposed. I think a slight curves adjustment could really bring out the color and darken the background.
