You have some wonderfull colour combinations here, I would have a go at playing with hue and saturation to lift the Rape, Grass and Sky...

The Final Fold

This is one of those imige that is very poignent for those who know its context but does not necessarily translate to others.
I see a simple composition of a what I presume to be a folded US flag mounted in a triangle.

The centre composition gives a static feel which can be enhanced with a less severe crop allowing the triangle to be moved to either the left or the right hand side

Beveled Effect

The colours here cover a complete rainbow, hower I feel that they give a rather flat composition. I would look at lifting these slightly with saturation and also to give a more dynamic feel try cropping a little more off the right hand side

Triangular frame

Simple A frame which for me captures the essence of this challenge beautifully.

The image is enhanced greater because the majority of the sky action is captured within the frame
