Theres still a lot of detail in the horse. Not quite a true silhouette according to the challange description. I'm sure others have made similar comments. Nice shot anyways though.

Challenge: Not a sil.
Concept: Does not hurt or help.
Composition: Well placed, but seriously hurt by the overexposed background that did not achieve the intended effect.

Cute horse, but looks like there's too much detail for it to truly be a silhouette.

Nice framing and composition, though for a silhouette you can still see a lot of detail on a large portion of the horse. Using a larger aperture to blur the background a bit more might be helpful. :-) 6

Nice picture, I am afraid that this may not do well as the horse is not completly silhouetted... good luck all the same!

A good attempt, but it's clear that you camera metered on the horse instead of the background, causing the background to be overexposed and the horse to have too much light to constitute a silhouette. If your camera has manual priority functions for aperture and shutter speed (M), try getting a reading off the background and keep those settings to execute the shot.

I truly enjoyed this shot, excellent frame to the subject. I struggle with this as a silhouette, but have enjoyed the picture none the less.

I like the way the horse is framed by the door, but this is NOT a silhouette at all.

Not really a silhouette but a beautiful horse...

This is a lovely picture of Goldie, however for me the horse needs to be much darker to be concidered a silhouette

I;m sure you've already been told this is not a silhouette. I would not even qualify as rim-light I'm sure. She's a lovely creature tho.
Also the thing in the lower right forground is distracting. Keep at it!! :)

you have the right idea here but there is FAR too much detail for this to be a silhouette... good try!

This is a beautiful, classic horse picture; it isn't really a silhouette though. The horse is backlit but it isn't in silhouette, you can still see lots of detail. The background is also a bit blown out.

Too much detail, meter the backround, increase teo stops and try it again.

Nice picture. A few things. First it has to much colour in the subject to be a silhouette. The background has way to much glare and over all feel, due to detail seems to soft. 5

I am not sure where the silhouette is
