The wire / cloth mesh is really unusual. I think it worked effectively to break up the boredom of a solid yellow background, even though it would be strange to find with a flower. If the flower was supposed to be the main subject though, I actually found my eyes drawn to the different in-focus parts of the mesh because the lighting on the flower is a bit dark and flat compared to that. Nice job.

A beautiful pic but to me red is just overpowering yellow for the attention in this pic, especially since red reflections were also picked up in the water.

I like the dof for this shot very much. It really works. I also like the black color against the yellow. The setting is strange...not where you'd expect to find a gourd but it's a visually pleasing enough shot.
