Submergedby katihComment: I am not sure if I would make it out that it's an apple. But hey who said it's supposed to be obvious ? 7 |

hommageby messerschmittComment: There are so many things I like about this shot and I guess none I don't like. I give it an 8. Not a 9 or 10 because it's reserved for something special special special. But who knows If nothing else fits the space than I will bump it up. |

Apple of a Different Colorby ecdillonComment: Going the easy way I see. Water always pays off on dp :) Shame on you lazy lazy :) Nicely done . But I've seen soo much water :) Before the voting I was soooooo sure there would be water-apple shots. Don't get me wrong but I am searching for creative, new, standing out images. Standing out as in idea. Still I'll give you a 7 I guess. |

Red Deliciousby thommoComment: Suggestion if the light source was in a vertical position and it cooperated woth the shape of the edges it would give a bigger impact to this shot. Right now you see a light rectangle out of the blue. It's not corresponding to the apples shape. |

Irresistableby zenelfComment: I like it but too bad you can feel this heavy ps grip :( My guess is that You overexposed the image and tried to heal it. Don't know if I am right but- is this shadow natural ? Because it doesn't consume the apple in a shadowy way but you can see straight lines. As if a polygon. I am sorry if I am wrong but that's my impression. |

The Apple Of Our EYES!!!by doctabrezComment: many people will say it's off topic. Since the topic said clearly THE FRUIT. I however will not mark you down for this. I understand the picture and the topic so it's ok with me :) The yellow below is horrible. You could try a soft focus in here. Not sure if the sharp image is working well here. It's a 5 I guess. |

Apple's Poolby Drew_BComment: Haha good one! Creative and that's what I like!!! The off center look is ok, but too bad that these apples on the right create a curve not a straight line :( Damn such a detail but it drives me mad :) I don't like the tripple shadows. If I may propose something - I would give a less direct lighting to avoid sharp shadows or If you wanted to have sharp shadows then maybe you should do it so that there is only one? Don't know it's just a suggestion. Anyway creativity comes first. You can always learn technical aspect and you can improve you technics but creativity is something that doesn't come by learning :) It's a 7 for the idea. But I feel that a 6 would be better :) Well I give you a chance hehe. |

Don't Tell William...by tfarrell23Comment: Now I don't know if that's intentional or not but it came out as an optical illusion :) The front doesn't match the back. This yellowish spot is is spoiling the image a bit. But still I give it a 7 :) |

Breakfast of Championsby totaldisComment: I don't understand the pencil but because I don't understand something it doesn't mean I have to mark it down for this :) I had a simillar Idea for a moment ( with the ball ). I am guessing - that's my impression - that you didn't have a good white bacground and you had to ps it a bit. I don't like the way the light 'consumes' the apple. It could be intentional though. On the other had these colours under the apple indicate some ps work. So I guess you had to hide some background details. It's not a "clean" image. Well I like it. 5 |
