I like this image, though the red color cast isn't doing it for me. I'm sure it was done on purpose but in a color version it's just too wrong to work, mabey put it in a Black and White, or tone down the magenta in the color verion. I think it has a nice strong compostion, and the feeling of the shot is great.

very well done! the background seperation looks nice and nothing is blown out. the subject matter is very interesting and the posing is done well for two of the three. the left most socks don't look to be very comfortable and it looks like the model may be un an uneven plane from the other two. thats ok though, this image really stands out in this challenge and I think a top ten finish is in order.

very nice high key image! I like most of it, there isn't much background seperation but that is a problem you can get into to. trying using another light to seperate the subject from the background and gain a 2 to 1 ratio. good overall, really stands out from the rest of the challenge 8

very interesting shot. great use of that flash! the black and white only adds to the shot. I would mabey watch where your placements are, it does look like you have a head growing out of your face. overall great shot though.

wow, had to really look at that for a second. great shot. lighting is done well. exposure looks to be just a tad under exposed but not by more than a half a stop. overall great picture

I love the compostion! nice use of leading lines! the lighting is a little off, and the color balance is very warm. I think the lighting ratio (the exposure of the light compaired to the exposure of the dark) could use some improvement too. mabey use a white bounce card on the right to return some of the light. The gutiar is great and the expression is wonderful. it's not tac sharp but I think that is ok for this shot. the triangular compostion betwen the face hands and head stock is great though. his watch in his sleave is a little distracting though. I think overall a great job though. I'm glad you tried this. keep shooting! 7

very intersting shot. I like it a lot. the light on the right side is too close and blowing out the side of her head. the perspective and facial reactions are great though. I am so glad you went for this shot. the free study was starting to get boring to look at. 9
