Ethereal Playgroundby twm122Comment: Phew! Another lovely 10! This is lovely and goes to my favorites. Did you mean for it to be tilted slightly to the right? My right brain self thinks that swing chains should obey gravity and hang straight. The light here is a joy to look at, the memories of summer and childhood and my childrens childhood, the wonderful sillouette of the big tree. Ah, this is the color of the world I grew up in, made all peaceful with all badness and pain removed. I just LOVE this photo! |

Glass Pondby youngnovaComment: Where is this? it looks so interesting. How big are these things? This is an almost but not quite image for me. It is almost stunning but the orbs in the background are poorly arranged, there are too many colors and I don't think the color of the water or the vertical reflections adds anything. Now, I suppose you couldn't get in the water and move the yellow and red ones around so they didnt obscure the onion stem, so my complaints are totally unrealisitic. I just think your score will reflect the haphazard array of the whatever-they-ares. |

Heavenly Signageby macrothingComment: If this were the middle ages you'd be hailed as a saint or a heretic. Beyond the cross as a point of interest, however, there is not much else in the picture to hold me here. The sky is not quite dramatic enough, the ground is too dark. It is hard to tell what the shite stuff is, snow? water? Wait, that's a plam tree, it can't be snow. An intersting something to sillouette sould make the whole image stronger. |

Ghostly Outreachby SherwinJamesComment: Ah - doesn't it look like a ballet? I can hear the music and almost see the delicate pistons swaying. Blue is an unusual choice for backgrond color so it really demands attention. And the blue makes the white look whiter, Lovely, |

Glowby jackal9Comment: First, your model is lovely. and so is your portrait of her. Does she like it? Have you tried the technique where you make a duplicate layer and get the glow perfect, like you have, on the top layer. Then erase the eyes so they are sharp from the bottom layer. It might give her eyes a bit more sparkle. It is nice how you have done it too. |

Early Curiosityby ValdoComment: Oh my! a 10 at last! I've been voting all day and this is a joy! love the way her arm connects her to the flowers, love the patch of yellow on her sleeve. I like the reversal of height, normally a kid would bend down to see flowers, not reach up. The sparkle in her eye, the way she is just about to say something, I love it all. |

Eagle Owlby mortyComment: Eek - I don;t want to meet him on a dark night. I dont know if I like the coloring job here, it certainly is striking and those eyes are piercing. Maybe Mr Owl would look as fierce with his natural colors? or a toned down eye? Maybe i'm just too rightbrained for this. Technically it the flawless, sharp, perfect DOF, composition, compelling, I can't stop looking at him. |

Flushing Meadowby TLL061Comment: This conjures up visions of Superman and Kryptonite. Something about the black and white and the dramatic world facing towards the Americas is very 1950s. |

Thai Boat Silhouetteby michael_pComment: I love the hint of color (reds) on the people in the boat. I like the way the foreground is reds and oragnes and the midsection is greens. I like the way the colors are sharp in the front and muted towards the back. Makes me want to be there, I wish I could go to Thailand! |
