Given to Flyby welcherComment: I think the use of negative space here is brilliant. The contrast between the red plane and the blue sky works well and the angle of the boy's head seems to contribute in a big way. Never heard of the song mind you, but this is great. |

The Graying of Technology by kandyjComment: It looks like you were shooting toward the sun here, so the quality of light is all the more remarkable to me. It's a very good composition with lots of good detail but it's the atmosphere that grabs me. So far, it's in my top five. Tremendous. |

1840's Train Wheelsby GallatinComment: This is one of my favourites this week. The low contrast gives it a gentle feel for such a heavy subject, perhaps a touch of nostalgia there. In contrast, so to speak, the bottom right seems too contrasty. It could probably do without the small area of light, top left, but I'm nitpicking now. Very good. |

City Traffic by ndsComment: Fantastic. Tell me you did it without using burst mode! Symmetry can often be a bit boring in a picture but I think it's the strength of this photo. Great stuff. |
