scalvert:"I was planning to shoot an adorable local girl over the weekend, but she was called away at the last minute. Bummer."

Why? With kids like that, you needed to shoot someone 'adorable'. Congrats!

Great OOB, Robin! If I may suggest, put some shadow (by burning) on your frame behind the ear. That's where the shadow would naturally show up given your light source position.
Keep them coming!

Nice!!! If I may recommend throwing some shade on the white frame (burning the frame to the left of the neck, since your light is assumed coming from the right)

I liked this one! As Daniel mentioned, very artsy. I hope this does not differ too much from the original - while noone will probably ask for a DQ now, be careful with the motion blur effect. If you add something that hasn't been in the original photo, it is construed as adding a major element. If there was some motion blur to begin with, enhancing it is OK.

I'm just saying this as I can forsee seeing one of your photos on the front page soon, so just wanted to make you aware of the details...

Best of luck in future challenges!

I'm confused by the comments that missed the two objects... yes there are other objects here, but only TWO are unrelated and the main focal point of the photo...

Congrats on the blue! I knew it when I saw it.
