Night Lightby GermaineComment: It sure doesn't look like a crime scene photograph, unless the crime was serving claret with fish. I'd love to be invited to dinner there. Thank you. |

Stop!by GeneralEComment: I truly love this kind of whimsical trouvé. It thrills me that you saw it, and thrills me even more on the rare occasions when I am similarly observant and receptive. Were this a regular challenge I would score this 10 instantly.
Thank you! |

not (a)floatby Bear_MusicComment: Emphatic vignette, square, high contrast, tones the colour of my favourite fountain pen ink. You're just teasing me again, you hussy! Trying to discover how much I can take. Stuff like this? I can take a lot! Thank you. |

bou bou becomes my friendby tnunComment: Basenjis have a particular moan? I want to hear that moan. Another picture of things you care about, and they are always welcome and uplifting for me. Thank you. |

...wait for noneby Ecce_SignumComment: Time and tide. Nice! It's dreamy and uncertain, and transformative, as all good photographs are to some extent. Thank you. |

Synchronize Disjuncturesby streetpigeonComment: Every time I see one of these I photograph it. Either literally or mentally. The mental shots always seem to come out much better.
It's absorbing. Thank you. |

The Birdsby GinaRothfelsComment: Birds are irresistible photographer magnets. I think it's because they are mostly anonymous, whereas mammals seem to have an individual identity. So that makes something mysterious about birds. And when they are joined together as a single organism, something rather unsettling too. Hitchcock knew that a flock of malevolent black birds was way more scary than a herd of grumpy elephants. Thank you. |
