I can totally relate. My 2 year old has close to 200 little hot wheels cars and They are EVERYWHERE. I pulled 2 out of the dryer yesterday. This is a great depiction of childhood. I have the feeling someone is going to comment on how they are "unorganized" or how it's "just a pile of cars". I think you did it PERFECTLY. I wouldn't change a thing. Childhood isn't about organized lines of cars or toys, it's about piles and messes. Great job and good luck in the challenge.

I almost did an easter egg hunt. Glad I didn't, yours is so much better than my idea. I love the colors and the angle. The background adds so much to this also. Very pretty. The upper left of the photo seems to have a hazy kind of look. Otherwise, very nice photo. Great job and good luck in the challenge.

Yummy looking. This is well done. I like how you have 2 big plates and 2 little plates. The lighting and placement are great. There is a glare on the large plate on the right, but nothing too distracting. And there is a wrinkle in the tablecloth. Other than that, you have a really great photo. Great job and good luck in the challenge.

I have to admit, without the title, I would not automatically think "childhood" when I saw this. However, I do understand the reference and am considering this to have "met the challenge". The angle is great for the purpose. Definately has the "through a childs eyes" look to it. The lighting is great and the sky is perfect. Great shot and good luck in the challenge.

There may be something I am missing about this car, but this looks like the drivers side of the car. I think that it might have been a bit more pwerful if it were in relation to the passenger side of the car, as we don't usually think of children in the drivers seat. However, setting that aside...this is a very nice photo. The lighting is great and the angle is very nicely done as "from the eyes of a child". Great job and good luck in the challenge.

This is very beautiful. The lighting is just right and her skin is very very smoothe which creates a pleasing subject to look at. I think it may be more sensual if she were wearing some kind of soft cloth such as sick or rayon instead of what looks like a towel. Yup, I see pencils! I could hang this in my livingroom. Great photo. Good luck in the challenge.

The color, or lack of color kind of bothered me at first. However, I think that with the title (and brand of pencil) it is kind of cool. Pureness is usually reflected by white. Although this isn't white, it's close, so it does have impact. I am curious as to why the background is clear at the top and out of focus at the bottom. Not that it matters much, just curious. makes it look like it was taken at a strange angle. I also can't wait to find out how these shots were done. Great shot and good luck in the challenge.

Great idea. They seem to be fighting. I didn't notice the pen in the thumbnail version of this photo. Was this a shutter speed trick? I wonder why it left the blue in the pen in only that one spot. Oh well, it doesn't matter, it's still a cool photo. I like the angle and the lighting is great. Gets a little bright up towards the top, but I think that just draws your eyes back down to the subject, so it works. Great job and good luck in the challenge.

The clarity of this is very nice. Great focus. Lighting is perfect. Originality and creativity both apply nicely here. I like the placement within the frame. I notice a few reflections in the very bottom of the glass, but they aren't distracting at all. Actually, they add a bit of color to the photo. Also, the light glare on the top of the glass is used very nicely in this photo. Great job and good luck in the challenge.

Find the Pencil

I think this would have been a bit more amusing if the pencil were actually hidden to be able to "find". The lighting on this is great. no distracting shadows or bright spots. Did you do some post editing to color? The orange/red on the sides looks a bit overdone. That could have been an upload thing though. The angle is good and the positioning is a bit too far to the left. Good luck in the challenge.
