when you are stuck in the past ...by sainazComment: What's she holding? A cigarette or crack pipe? Not sure I like it there. This shot may have more impact with the photos in focus with a real shallow depth of field and the chick out of focus.... drives attention on the memories and not the chick. Just a thought... (7) |

Desolated open armsby Bela45Comment: A little overexposed and out of focus for my style... slightly confusing message here, but I think I got it. (6) |

Marble Madnessby TurbotechComment: Well done. The negative space really accents the subject. The reflections are chopped in half, that's pretty cool, although not sure how you did it. I would have liked to have seen a color stripe in the last marble... I see the blue, green and orange, but what is the last one? Glass is difficult to do well. Great job and good luck! (8) |

Watch out...by xertionComment: I am so sorry... but I don't like this. It's too freaky! Unnatural. The lighting all so different too. What a trip to look at! hehe |

Kennedy Ryane, Less Than One Hour Oldby jodiecostonComment: My clear favorite for the challenge. The first thing I noticed was that all three photos seemed to have dark bottom-left and top-right corners. Reminds me of photos that belong in a locket on a necklace. If I were to direct this photoshoot and do something different, it would be to show the baby's open eyes in each shot... while maintaining the other's eyes not being shown, as they look down. Great work. My only 10. |

Joy, Comfort, and Loveby dacrazyrnComment: nice intimate moment captured. Although I disagree with the framing style. The dark lines across the child's face is a shame. I really like the lighting on the photo... very soft and warm, even being b/w. |

Alishaby sherryk471Comment: I really like this sequence, but the photography seems lost with the filters used. The moment is lessened, to me.

At the soccer gameby jjbeguinComment: Over exposed and oversaturated. hehe... just stating what everyone else is saying, no doubt. I actually like the effect. But I think I would rather the top right photo be the one in color... that's where the real action is and the real life. The other two photos are typical. I'll revisit this photo later. It's so unique it deserves several visits. (8) |
