this is definatly artistic- - i like the lighting tones; and the 'shooting down ideas' title of it (tho i must admitt i thought it was 'killing ideas' when i saw the thumbnail ;) similar i suppose idea of title ;)-- ) I like this shot a lot- and would potentially like to see how it would look framed ?

it would be interesting to see a somewhat 'series' of this image (with the glass broken on the bulb etc...) very very creative! I like it :)

this was a great shot in the challenge- i raed it on the higher-end of the 1-10 scale -the lighting is just great, and its a wonderful 'candid' (I adore it because it reminds me of something my daughter does with my father, grabbing his nose, and or pointing at his eyes) spectacular image, great job!

I like this image a lot- i'm trying to figure out why someone gave you a 1 unless they were just attempting to 'boost' their own scores? it fits the challenge, the lighting is beautiful, there is a twist of humor to it, its fully sharp and in focus - it would be interesting to see what that persons photos look like? (makes me kinda wish we could see the 'users that post below 4's photos)

interesting artistic - cool black and white (first thoughts) - -

sixties feel? =check
musician-like art feel to it? = check (even without instruments, i think of something along the lines of the beetles.. or monkeys...or...)
artistic- twist... =check -the eye being covered under the glasses is interesting, -the high key coloring of the image and yet you still were able to pick up some fine details is great- the skintone being slightly fuzzed baffles me somehow because of how sharp the hair is -and yet it works very well for this image! :)

its definatly interesting; my first thoughts were of a 'mental hospital scene' artistically speaking- some very interesting photography 'behind the scenes' as another commenter said! - I do like the three pannels though...the middle one almost looks like 2 diffrent pannels (initially i thought it was 4 pannels-one on top two middle one bottom... but then i realized it is a doorway/wall) really nice photographs! :) i like the candid feel to them! :)

I rated this image a 5... I like the idea of it, and some of its composition, the thumb peeking up out of the bottom of the frame seems rather...alone? when i ignore that the symmetrical lines of the hand are beautiful- i wish they were lit a bit more so i could see it though? - I do like the background choice (black) - perhaps desaturation would have helped with this image (B&W?) my eyes drift off the left edge ofthe frame because of the nice lines you captured in the hands layout- perhaps a frame would help prevent that? I do like the image, but there are a few thing sI think might have made it really pop ? I hope my suggestions are helpful - i'm not an expert tho- :) I hope your image does well! :)

wow= this is a -great- image; i'm rather baffled by those 2's in your scoring;&and amazed and in awe of the 82 10's! and 63 9's! wow!!! (I think when people give such low scores they should explain 'why' at some point- at least privatly if not publically) this image is one of my faves! its amazing! :)
