Juliannby fotofanComment: I think this image is very enchanting in a magical childhood kind of way; i do wish the subjects eyes were a bit sharper - because they are beautiful and i understand the soft focus because its a lovely style for portraits... i would still -love- to see this done again sharper perhaps eyes nose mouth and edge of flower- (basically center of image in focus with fine detail) and the rest of the image softly oof :-) lovely choices of color to contrast the darkness of the subjects eyes and I like the crop as well- not too close and not too far out- its just...perfect :-) |

Our Easter Stroll by Dirt_DiverComment: this is so sweet and photojournalistic, I adore the hands in the pockets and looking where she is walking; the black and white almost sepia feel to this image makes it feel timeless and classic; the lighting/dodging/burning on sides is nicely done to keep the eye focused on the subject... wondering what she is thinking about as she steps over the crack :-) |

On The Trail Of Peter Cottontailby chickadeezlComment: Adorable- and I love how you worked with the green grass/ green on the back of the shoes by balancing it with a green object in her hand; even more I love that the subject is a redhead (I am a little biased in the fact that I am a redhead and adore redheaded children - it helps that the image is well composed and everything that should be in focus is in focus - love how you got her with 1 foot up too :-) can just see her toddling along in the woods :-) nice non-invasive border as well :-) overall highly scored :-) |

Little Princessby BMacDComment: whimsical- very sweet- i love how you did the selective desaturation; i do wish more of her head in the reflection had been 'colorized' or even a more gradent tone was used on the water to colorize it may have enhanced it more in my opinion? but overall i do love it- its one of the images i scored on the highest end :-) because of the princess magical feel to the composition of her diping her toe in the water... nicely done :-) |

Evolution of the Shell Gathererby bspurgeonComment: Absolutely -adore- this image, its precious that all the little ones are in blue and have curly hair/same color hair - I love the yellow bucket thrown into the mix it works as a centerpoint for the eye- and keeps drawing me back into the center of the photo even as my eye starts to wander towards the other two subjects... lovely composure- nicely cropped/ this i predict will do very well! :-) |

Boys Will Be Boysby jeroweComment: LOL -adorable- and great focus; I probably would have cropped some of the height out of the image because I love that silly-expression and how sharp it is; that is definatly a child captured being a child :-D |

Fieryby karmatComment: as a fellow redhead- i'm rather biased and immediatly love this image ;) I would reccomend a light brush under the eyes to lighten the shadows (dodge/burn) inside the eyes to really make them pop or use a diffrent flash in the future perhaps? :-) remember the challenge allows for advanced editing! :-) perhaps crop or clone out that incidental blue thing in the background above her head :-) i hope this does well ! |

What They're Good Forby kawesttexComment: I love this- for both the comical and the action factor (10) -- that said - since its advanced editing i might have sharpened/ dodged and burned a bit more - i love the composition and the shape of the child the lawnmower and the grass (triangular) it keeps the eye in the frame; very nicely done - good idea :-) |

Emilby jfritz27Comment: this is a lovely portrait; the adult jacket on the back of the chair really pulls the browns and warm feelings out in this image; puts emphasis on the size of the child (smaller than a grownup)/ its wonderfully composed; in focus flawlessly; excellent job! :-) |
