Qantab Tunnel.JPGby dssagent88Comment: One way to do quasi-selective saturation adjustment is by using the Curvemeister plug-in:
//www.curvemeister.com/
It includes a Hue-Saturation-Brightness (HSB) mode where you can adjust the saturation curve. For example, you might want to increase saturation on the less saturated parts while leaving the already saturated parts alone. Or vice-versa. Try playing around with the curves and see what you get. |

..by arsenalComment: Cool. I never even saw that claw. I like how you got her staring right at it, oblivious to the kids all around. |

Another Day in Paradiseby JutildaComment: Of the shots I've seen so far, I suspect this one is the most accurate reflection of most people's mornings. Good concept and I like the dramatic lighting and high contrast in the face. |

The Essence of Innocenceby SandyPComment: Good catch. I never really noticed this girl all the while we were there. I remember Deb talking about the sepia layer - I'm glad you explained it here. It's very helpful to me when people explain something about a photo, such as how they achieved a particular effect or what they were thinking when they took it. |

The White Sandalby JutildaComment: Good call. This one is far better than the red haired girl we all kept looking at. Plus this is truly a portrait while that was really a candid. |

mattby arsenalComment: Sweet. This may take the lead as my favorite reflection in glasses shot. Good idea to keep the color in the reflection - it really shows off the unique color of this capitol. |

...by arsenalComment: The multiple panels work well here. I like the effect on the water, too. How did you manage to get just one kid in that whole scene? |

discordantby arsenalComment: Cool effect. I always try to make my photos look like the scene I remember seeing; you have an eye for seeing an image that wasn't there and making it happen. |
