Mardi Graby neenee1999Comment: This appears to me to be a photo that was not taken in perfect focus. Looks to me like you sharpened it more, or tried to anyway. The image quality is suffering a bit from it. A good idea for this photo though. |

Cardinal Bracing Against The Snow Storm by DrakeComment: Great shot. Good still, and also good motion with the flakes aflyin'. The colors seem a little bit off. Maybe its just a regional thing. Ours are still pretty red around here.8 |

Prehistoric Sea Animals from the Ordovician Seaby MarjoComment: The colors are bright, but the picture is not crisp. Good subject and really the overall composition is very good. The quality of the photo is just not where it needs to be, especially for this type of shot. |

The Waterfallby robbiehComment: A good idea, but not a great shot. Tough one to expose just right, if indeed it is possible. I have my doubts looking at this because the top right corner is way hot and the top left corner is really dark. I think there is no medium which means you must sacrifice one part for the other. That puts you in a lose-lose situation. Maybe a different angle on this would've left you more options. |

Protest in Mexicaliby cimarron98Comment: Pretty good shot. To me it looks a little bit overexposed. I think it would tone down the glare on the windows but maintain the details in the men's faces. This is a pretty photojournalistic shot and those can be found in NG as well as all the animals and stuff too. Good luck 7 |

Lake Sunsetby rickhd13Comment: This is pretty good. It reminds me a lot of the first sunrise photos I took when I really got into photography. Same kinds of warm colors and hot suns. |

Fallow Deerby RHoldenSrComment: I understand the yellow border thing, but I don't agree that it should be here. The picture itself is okay. Its pretty sharp, but the focus is not dead on. The neck at the bottom of the frame is blown out pretty bad. Good shallow DOF too. |

Romanic Architecture of the 11th Centuryby Harz_JoergComment: I could see this subject in NG. But I don't think it would be like this. The lighting here is too flat. It needs some drama with the lighting, maybe like dawn or dusk lighting which would give it warmer colors and a lot more depth. I think this lighting has flattened this image out a lot and it doesn't have to be this way. |
