The stylization of this image is just great. I want to like it even more, but the post- processing is too much for me. The white is too bright (on the car and her teeth), the red of her lips is too red, and I am not sure if the blue I see around her eyes is eye shadow, effects of the processing, or just my eyes seeing things. 6

I like the subject, the comp. is a bit off tho. I would have liked to have seen more of each object shown, crop maybe is too tight. This could have been titled "War and Peace" (if the challenge description had not stated that the title was to be the 'year'). The pistol seems to clash with the peace sign and guitar. I am assuming that that is on purpose, to reflect the time, and the change in the social conscious...the war and the war protesters...... Or am I just reading too much into it?

There's either camera noise, or too much post processing. The image also seems a bit out of focus. I would have liked to have seen this in a sepia or B&W.

Image is aesthetically pleasing, however, this could be almost any shirtless dude walking down the street in Fort Worth. :) The image doesn't necessarily convey "1980". 6

I like the feel of this image. However, I am still not quite sure if I could do with or without the giant Winnie the Pooh. On one hand it is pretty cute sitting there in the back....on the other, this type of Pooh merchandise wasn't available until the late 60's (I think, not until Disney picked up the Pooh label?). Anywhoo, I didn't nick pick on that detail when voting.......7 it's just too cute and whimsical.

Totally has the eighties ad. feel, with one exception...the t.v. The image would have been more effective, in my opinion, if the top third had been cropped out.
